[access-uk] Re: Switching on the Zen Stone

Amanda,

I have found this isn't an issue if you're using Windows Explorer but, when using the Creative software, it's been a bit picky. I've found I need to open Creative, then plug in the Zen Stone.

If you're just using Windows Explorer, you should probably get a dialogue up, after plugging in the Zen Stone, to indicate a drive and ask whether you want to play files etc. . . ..

Hope this helps a bit.

I also have a problem with my Zenstone. When i conect it up to the computer and try to transfer files, it tells me that the player is not deteceted. Does anyone know what that could be?

Thanks Amanda.

Hi Mark,

I just hold it in for about three seconds, much like turning on a mobile
phone, and it seems to work for me every time.

All the best

Steve

Is there a particular way to turn on the Zen Stone please? I press and hold the centre button and fiddle about but it takes over half a minute to get it
to start playing. Surely there is a simple way to do this?
