Hi.

No need to get back to me on this one, I think I found the solution!

I disabled the Shockwave Flash player from Adobe and that seems to have done
the trick.

Sorry for bringing this to the list before checking out this possibility.

Subject: [access-uk] Stopping webpages from Automaticly Launching Videos Etc

  Hi List.

I've started to encounter more and more websites that will launch video
content the minute they load, see

  http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/sportsday/live/

for an example of what I'm talking about.

This obviously can make listening to JAWS a bit of a problem and I'm simply
looking for a way to stop this from happening. Does anyone have a solution?

I've checked in the Multi Media options in IE and there's nothing there about
videos, sounds yes, videos no.

  Thanks.

  Darran
