Hi Mark and anybody else interested lol.
This is slightly more complicated than Alistair's instruction but
possibly better for a non-JFW user?
Go to AVG Control centre. hopefully you will hear Reduced Mode.
Cursor down twice. To Components Submenu and enter or space. Hopefully
it will say List.
Cursor down twice
To Email scanner and enter or space.
Now you come to your list so tab through and uncheck certification on
incoming and outgoing mail and tab to okay.
I hope this is clear and that it works with Hal I am never sure which
are Jaws keystrokes and which are general keystrokes.
Mandy.

Alistair,
I'm a Hal user, but I'm sure I'll find it. Thanks.

Hi Mark,
Sure that Mandy will supply the necessary info, in the meantime you
could try this:
1. go to AVG control centre and resident shield.
2.Assuming you are a jaws user use your jaws curser to right click the E
mail scanner.
3. Returning to normal curser tab until you hear Properties and press
enter. 4. tab until you hear configure. 5. tab and you should hear a
number of check box options regarding your E mail scanner, the boxes to
uncheck are the ones labelled certify outgoing and incoming E mail,
click on apply and ok to complete.
Fairly sure there are other ways to do this but this works for me!
Alistair
