[access-uk] Re: Stopping avg scan notification in emails

Alistair,
I'm a Hal user, but I'm sure I'll find it. Thanks.

Hi Mark,

Sure that Mandy will supply the necessary info, in the meantime you could
try this:

1. go to AVG control centre and resident shield.
2.Assuming you are a jaws user use your jaws curser to right click the E
mail scanner.

3. Returning to normal curser tab until you hear Properties and press
enter.
4. tab until you hear configure.
5. tab and you should hear a number of check box options regarding your E
mail scanner, the boxes to uncheck are the ones labelled certify outgoing
and incoming E mail, click on apply and ok to complete.

Fairly sure there are other ways to do this but this works for me!

Alistair
