hi, yes i've seen this method of displaying email addresses quite often.
mailman used for list hosting uses this method when displaying the addresses of
list members. if it helps stop junkmail hunters grabbing the address, then good
on them.

Subject: [access-uk] Spelling 'at' in email address

  Hi all

Has anyone come across a contact email address that has the word 'at' in the
email address instead of the symbol '@'? Calibre talking books have this and
when I pointed it out this is the reply I got:

"The reason for the at in our e-mail address is that junk mail is generated
by picking up e-mail addresses using the @ symbol on web pages."

This is logical, but I'm sure I've seen email address' that are just
hyperlinks without the address written in.

  Barry
