Hi Clive,
the audio file which Hussein posted describes a fairly old version of Audacity.
The current beta version, 1.3.11, is far more accessible for users of screen
readers, and is reasonably stable. There's a written guide available for this
version for users of the Jaws screen reader, and nearly all of it is also
applicable to users of other screen readers. It's available at:

As described in the guide, there are many ways of moving the cursor around and
selecting audio. If you have any questions, just let me know,
David.
original message:
Hello Hussein,
thanks very much for uploading the audio presentation of Audacity. I will
mostly use the program to edit files I record on my Olympus DM550 recorder, and
for a free program it's packed with features, so I'm sure I'll find the
information helpful.
Best wishes,
Clive Pallett
