Hi Jackie and Yusuf,

Yes, I was surprised when I couldn't find any reference to it in the manual.
Now wouldn't it be great if you could store podcasts and read daisy books on this!

Hi Yusuf and Jim

I've just located it, though I'm amazed I never knew it was there, or
certainly didn't associate it with an SD card slot before. I suppose the
manual never mentioned it, Wireless for the Blind never mentioned it, and I
didn't spot it.

Oh well, you learn something every day, even if it isn't operational yet. I
must ask Luke Williams about it if I speak to him again in the future.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

That's interesting because mine does but if you don't know its there you
could very easily miss it. I've never tried putting a card in it to see what
would happen and there's nothing about how to use it in the manual, so I
guess its not actually available at the moment.

Just encase it helps someone, the SD slot is located on the rear pannel at
the right end near the top. That's always assuming you've got the Sonata
facing the correct way for use.

Hi Jim

I wasn't aware of an SD card slot, so I guess if you've found one, it
is for future use, mine definitely doesn't have one on it, (smile).

Hi List,

I've just received my Sonata internet radio. I've had a look on the
insturctions and on line, but I can't seem to find a way of accessing the
sd
card facility.
Does anyone on the list know how to do this, or is the card slot there to
future-proof the device?
All help appreciated.

Jim
