That's interesting because mine does but if you don't know its there you could very easily miss it. I've never tried putting a card in it to see what would happen and there's nothing about how to use it in the manual, so I guess its not actually available at the moment.
Just encase it helps someone, the SD slot is located on the rear pannel at the right end near the top. That's always assuming you've got the Sonata facing the correct way for use.
