Hi

You have to pay the annual charge each year so that the database can be
updated and maintained.  Remember that any station that is added has to be
voiced in order for the user to know what it is if they add it to their
Sonata list.

I must admit I wouldn't be without mine, it's just so lovely to take it away
from the PC and have good quality sound, though of course the iPods do this
now as well.

Do you have to pay this annual fee to get access to the radio, or can you
just turn it on and listen to what you want.

I don't mind paying £300 for the radio, but having to pay £25 a year to be
able to use it seems a bit of a rip off.
