[access-uk] Skype tutorial, was Re: Re: using google efficiently

Hi

Just to follow up on what Steve is saying. The Skype tutorial is really excellent, and I have been listening to segments of it as and when I have been able to over the past few days. There is quite a bit about Skype contained in the tutorial I did not know, and I have not completed listening yet, so it is well worth it.

Hi James,

I tend to follow Graham's way and search for the word Cached, and that tends
to work.

By the way, there is an excellent tutorial on Google from Jonathan Mosen on
http://www.mosenexplosion.com. And if you think you know Google well, so
did I, but I still learned from it.

I don't sell this or anything, but I do highly recommend it. His tutorial
Speaking Of Skype is equally excellent. As ever, they are both very well
researched. They are a bit JAWS oriented, but you can still get a lot from
them if you use another screen reader.

All the best

Try playing with the "next non-linked text" setting and personalise it to Google. You might be able to get it so that it generally skips the sponsored Links, although I'm not sure how reliable that will turn out to be.

Hi all.

I am a regular internet user and tend to use google for searching as many
do. When training new users, the bigest problem is getting past the
sponsored links quickly and looking at the propper results.

I search for the word Cached and then know that probably I am on the first
result. Anyone else got any suggestions? I use JAWS version 7.

Cheers

Graham
