Hi Chris,
The audio qquality is much better in Skype 4. If you change the view to
Compact mode in the View menu, switch Skype to Classic, and then
Simplified
graphics in accessibility, there is no learning curve at all.

My argument here is that Skype 4.0 is usable, but with a learning curve.
If
you do not wish to take this learning curve, don't use it until Skype
fixes
some accessibility issues that are currently present in the newest
version.
However, both Gary and myself use Skype 4.0, and I know others do as well,
and actually they love it!

If you are a JAWS user, the best version is 3.8. There is a note to this
effect on the Skype website. I would think this would also apply to users
of access technologies other than JAWS.

removed from the title bar and the system tray.

I am set up on Skype and so is a friend of mine but we both haven't a
clue how to use it. My friend's name is Seoirs e Neilan and my Skype
name I think is eleanor burke1. Now he hasn't a clue what his Skype
name is but he told me that there is some sort of search engine and
that I would be able to look up his name and then press enter on that
and I would get him. Any expert know if this is true please and could
you help me with being able to use this search function.
