There will be 6 connection points on the back of the router.

1 for power
1 for the ADSL which connects to the filter which connects to your phone
socket
And 4 ethernet ports for networking your computers

The router has I think 5 ports. 3 ethernet ports, and 2 ADSL ports. 
I take it you connect the router via one of the ethernet ports?,

Hi Billy. As long as your telephone line is setup for Sky Broadband!
You just power the router up and connect your internet cable to the router
and telephone socket. You will need to read the pass key on the box as you
will need to enter this when you attempt to connect to the router. You will
be asked to verify the pass key and then you just simply hit connect.
