Hi Steve,

Unless you want to spend a small fortune on Adobe Acrobat,
Adobe Reader 7 is a good bet, from http://www.adobe.com

Yes, it would be a good idea to remove 5, and indeed you
will usually be advised to remove earlier versions when you
install 7.

George.

Subject: [access-uk] Site Address for Adobe PDF Software.

Hi folks,

I wish to get the Adobe Acrobat software which will enable
me to read PDF documents. I know that there is a particular
version which will work with screen readers but don't know
which is the latest version or, what the link to download it
is. Please could someone be kind enough to provide the
correct address so that I can get this. Also, I have on my
computer what seems like a cut down version of version 5.0
which has never worked with screen readers. It informs me
that it does not have screen reader support. Would it be
best for me to delete this version before downloading
whatever the latest version is. Thank you.

Steve
