If the video is connected via RF or preferably SCART then you should be able to 
record the output to DVD.  I have done this with a Panasonic DVD recorder in 
the past although the make it is makes no difference at all it is the 
connectivity that is the issue between the two units.

Thanks for telling us about this DVD Recorder.  

Would it be possible to use this model to record from a video player and burn 
the result to a DVD?

Also, apart from burning DVDs, is it possible to send the output to, say, a 
memory pen?
