Hi George, thanks, fans are clean and it certainly does make a difference.

I believe DeltaTronic in Germany manufactures a fanless PC but most literature 
is in German.  It is virtually noisless though.
The hard drive is acoustically insulated and the graphics card is liquid cooled.

JAL Virgo Silentium has a low RPM fan and large copper heat exchange pan; 
graphics card also liquid cooled; also quiet.
