Hi In addition to what George said, if you are thinking of a UK broadband package, Plusnet do two packages - one with more features like static IP etc, but a download limit, and one with no download limit but dynamic IP and no real extra features both for the same cost. If you wanted extra "bandwidth included", you can either pay more up front, or leave it to pay slightly higher price for extra if needed. I think my ISP does £1.50 for each GB you use, but only if the usage really continually exceeds the limit multiple times - I once made a mistake when scheduling a download and download 5gb of data in one day, which I managed to recoup in subsequent months because I hardly ever go beyond 500mb per month on the hours I am metered. Unfortunately this is the recent state because ISPs realised they could get custom by giving very low price tags on their products (I saw a company tonight on the TV advertising up to 8mb for a tenner a month whilst using the service!). Are you thinking of moving to this country, or just interested in UK broadband? If you were really interested, and gave us some figures about what sort of data you downloaded etc, I could recommend some packages for you. BTW, I listened to some radio once when on holiday, this was for most of the morning and I think it only amounted to around 20mb on the line. Does this audio streaming count? Its not exactly tangible, but you do download kbps. 2. lets say I have 6 gigs of download and I download 6 gigs of music on perhaps DCC plus plus, Will I run out in one instance? 3. Will 2MB of broadband offer good quality audio streaming? I for example have 3gb a month, but only from Monday-Friday at 08:00-18:00 - the rest (i.e, when I am in) I can use as much as I want too. For instance, Freeserve talks of a packkage having a broadband speed of 2MB and a usage of 6 Gigs. In the UK, are you limited as to how many hours you use on the internet?
