Moti, hi there. Well I do have JAWS 6 and the computer does the same thing
with it where JAWS keeps repeating itself and won't stop. JAWS 6 was fine
before I took the computer to the shop though. At the shop they updated the
Motherboard bios and put me in a new disk drive and when it came back this
started. Over the last two days though oddly enough it seems to have been
OK so I'm hoping it'll be alright.

Hi Donna,
Do you have another version of Jaws?
As, Jaws 6.2 or 5 or other, if yes, how does that other version of Jaws
work?
It can give you a good indication to know if the problem is of your system
or only your specific Jaws version?
So let us know, what is going on?

Hi List, I'm at my wit's end to know what to do! I'm having a serious
problem with JAWS.
Quite often, JAWS is repeating a word or phrase and not stopping. Even if
I
press control or alt f4, it still carries on, and the only way I can stop
it
is to do a complete re-boot.
I phoned Triss at Sight and Sound and he was really helpful and advised me
to go through the systems settings for JAWS for Windows XP which I did. I
run Service pack 2 by the way.
However, this has made no difference. I've done a repair, and also a
complete re-install of JAWS 7 and the same thing has happened.
I can't help thinking that this problem wasn't there before they put in my
new hard drive. I know they updated the mother board bios for me, but I
just can't think how to stop this problem from occurring and what it could
be. Has anyone else ever had this with JAWS? This is the first time I've
ever encountered such a problem, and it can't do my computer any good to
keep re-booting all the time.
