[access-uk] Sending Kindle Abroad

Hi all 

 

Does anyone know if it would be possible to use a Kindle in Australia which
has been sent from the UK? I am wondering whether the kindle could be
charged in Australia and whether books could be downloaded from there using
the UK amazon site with Whispernet.

 

I have tried to find out using google, but nothing has made much sense.

 

If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know.
