I wonder whether anyone familiar with Vista could explain to me what I am doing wrong (or perhaps not doing!). I wish to search for a particular file which I know must be on my C: drive. I use the Advanced Search so that the results are not restricted to indexed files in my own Profile i.e. so that the whole drive is searched. I am duly told that one occurrence of the file has been found, but nowhere can I discover the path! I suspect that if I could visualise the screen layout I might be able to devise a suitable strategy, but with no useful sight that is difficult. Incidentally I am still using the "Classic" Start menu and not the Vista one - I simply take the Search item in the Start menu. Thanks in advance for any guidance, Douglas -- Douglas Harrison ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
