Hi George.

Yes, the computer is over 2 years old and the shop where I put it into, well 
the owners undertook one of those college courses which enable people like 
them, set up as computer repair experts .  They do have a pretty poor 
reputation over here, but I suppose given that I had almost destroyed my 
computer, by spilling liquid into it, to get it back working, even for a 
short time, was worth the million quid I paid them to do it.

I'm always spilling, or knocking over tea, coffee or Tenants Lager and I 
suppose, drips did get into the machine.  Not any more, a very nice joiner 
has built me a wee work station, out of kitchen units and now my computer is 
safe and dry.
