Good statistics from you, Ibraham, and worth further testing.  In my
experience, if your scans happen to include dense graphics, power
consumption goes way up.

And you can be sure that someone will want to scan "War and Peace" -
smile.

Hi George.

Yes, that's true, but the scanner in question consumes a nominal
amount of power, and its not as if your going to be using it all the
time your on the netbook while unplugged is it?  One scan might take
off a couple of minutes of power from your battery, but in my tests I
only noticed a slightly lower battery running time when scanning 20
pages of perhaps 15 minutes.
