Hi Sam. I believe the Tom-tom handheld units can do this, but I couldn't give you more specifics other than I think they're called the Go series and are touchscreen. If you have a recent Nokia phone, Ovi maps can do this as well, that is announce street names and give pedestrian instructions. I use this myself.
