Hi Sam.

I believe the Tom-tom handheld units can do this, but I couldn't give you more
specifics other than I think they're called the Go series and are touchscreen.
If you have a recent Nokia phone, Ovi maps can do this as well, that is
announce street names and give pedestrian instructions. I use this myself.

All the best, Ibrahim.

  Hi

Does anyone know of or use a mainstream sat nav that can give audio
directions for pedestrians.

  Thanks

  Sam
