It's already on your netbook. The shortcut is on the desktop by default.----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, January 30, 2009 6:21 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Samsung NC10.Well Ibrahim how could we get one of these flash manuals or is it on the CD because at least it would be better than nothing, this way we could at the very least employ sighted assistance where possible.Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "Ibrahim Gucukoglu" <ibrahim_gucukoglu@xxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, January 30, 2009 2:59 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Samsung NC10.Hi Jackie. There is an English manual, but its in flash format which we simply can't use. All the info I've got I've either been told, had to find out myself or gained through lists like this one. I've spoken to Samsung to see if there is a PDF version of the manual, but it seems that they produce interactive manuals which allow you to virtually do things on the laptop by following examples, sort of like interacting on a flash based website. All the best, Ibrahim----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie Cairns" <jackie.cairns@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, January 30, 2009 2:49 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Samsung NC10.Hi IbrahimActually, I tried looking online for the manual for the Samsung, and allI could get was one in Korean!! I fancied that wouldn't help me much! Hi Roy. I'm a Samsung NC10 owner and will be more than happy to help you. Firstly, you don't receive a user guide with this machine; the user guide is online and to top it all is in a format that us blind individuals can not access at all. All you receive with the machine isa few leaflets that deal with health and safety, warrantee service and agetting started leaflet as well as instructions on how to use therecovery solution should you need to. I don't know about the light, butyou can generally tell if the battery is charging as it will feel a little warm to the touch. Also, the AC mains lead will be warm. Ifeither of these are not the case, the battery is either fully charged orthe machine isn't connected to the wall properly. I know we have many samsung owners on this list. We have just purchased the NC10, we don't appear to have an operating manual. Isthere any indication that the battery is being charged? My Wife has justnoticed that some indicator lights are now lighting along the front, At the moment there are three alight, there are four that are not yet alight, do these have to all light to indicate battery fully charged? Any help would be appreciated. Don't want to flood the list. Cheers R B.
