I doubt you would have a problem with volume Barbara.  It comes over
loud and clear to me, and the machine is so quiet that I hardly know it
is running.

Thanks for that. What is the volume like? On my last laptop which wasn't
a smaller one, the highest volume was very difficult to listen to if
there was any background noise at all and when the fan periodicly came
on it drowned out the speakers. I found myself with my ear right down to
the speakers unless the room was silent.
