I understand all you  say.

However,  if  customer makes contact with a manager,  and the manager
Is not able to  respond, surely there should  be A PA  to respond on his
behalf.

Anyway all is  ok  now, because  just  received email from
Lorraine  Everson,  and she confirms  James will email me.

Ah! Well then you might not hear anything for a while as my old mate James
is a very busy person Derek, I can promise you that, and runs here, there
and everywhere.  I know it is frustrating when you want something sorting
out, but truthfully that is the case with James.  Send an Email to the
address I gave, and one of the lads will either answer it, or pass it on if
they can't deal with it.
