To put the batteries in take the left ear muff off. Press it in and rotate
slightly. It't towards you if you're holding the headphones out in front of
you in the position they would be if they were on your head.

Ah, thanks Graham, so they are definitely rechargeable then, so all I need
to know now, is how, and where the batteries go!

did a search on the web and it suggests that you recharge them by placing
them on the base in some way. don't have them so can't say any more.

Cheers

Hi Carol - I'm using the RS130 model currently sold by Persula, and they
seem to be different to yours; there is no 'belt clip' that might suggest a
battery compartment; what there is, protruding from between the two halves
of the left earphone, is a piece of flexible very thin plastic, or shiny
card, and this goes in to the left earpiece, between the two halves that
make up the left hand side. I'm wondering if this left side of the headset
is meant to be prized apart, and if the battery compartment is actually
housed within the left can. As you can imagine, I'm reluctant to prize it
apart, in case I'm wrong! I'm also wondering how the actual charging happens
too, as there is no connecting cable between the headphones and base unit,
and no obvious contacts on the base unit to make contact with the headphones
when docked...I've just thought, maybe they're not rechargible, they claim
to have a battery life of up to 22 hours, longer than any charged unit I've
ever heard of.
Any more thoughts?
Andy

Hi Andy,

I can't remember the model of our Sennheiser, but there are two parts to it
which are joined permanently via a cable. One part is the ordinary
headphones and the other, with a belt clip on the outside, has the batteries
inside. The shape of this part is like a fat pen. There is also an on/off
switch on this part.Along one edge of the battery compartment, near to the
cables, is a little lock thing which just presses in, as you separate the
two sides, and there's the battery compartment.

Hope this may help you, even if yours is not exactly the same.
