Hi
Apologies for posting to a few lists but think this might be useful to the
blind community.
After reading the following from the Download list I'm wondering if this
program is accessible and if its results are also accessible?

If you haven't heard about portable applications, yet...where've you
been? Portable apps are conversions of popular software programs that can be
run from a Flash drive or other storage or media devices.
Portable software has received its biggest boost from John T. Haller and
his PortableApps.com site, which includes several ports of popular programs,
including Firefox Portable and VLC Media Player Portable. He also offers two
powerful free suites--one standard version (that includes OpenOffice.org
Portable) and a light version (that swaps in AbiWord Portable).
This week, Seth Rosenblatt took at good look at AppCompactor, the
software that Mr. Haller has used to develop some of his programs. Using 7-Zip
and UPX technology, AppCompactor compresses files necessary for running
applications into packages that can remain archived even while the program is
running.
AppCompactor can save up to 50 percent of disk space for many software
programs--and even cooler, it can help you make your very own portable
applications. Get the full scoop in the Download.com blog.
