Justin, why not create a rule to send all incoming emails containing an
attachment to a folder called, perhaps, Attach. Place a Z in front of Attach
so that it reads ZAttach. This will place the ZAttach folder way down on
your tree viewso as not to be a bother. The Z will make sure that tree view
hotkeys such as B for Blindtech , or J for Jaws, does not include ZAttach
as one of the selections of a particular hotkey. You can create such a rule
in both Outlook Express or Outlook, and I wouldn't be surprised if you could
also do this with Eudora. If anyone informs you to await an incoming
attachment, you will, like the others, find it in your ZAttach folder. This
might be a nuisense if you recieve quite a lot of legitimate attachments, or
if you recieve work related attachments, or frequent attachments from
friends, but if you very rarely get legitimate attachments it might be worth
looking into. You can clean out the ZAttach folder many times per day. Or,
if you want to go extreme, set your email client to delete any emails with
attachments straight at the server so they don't even get downloaded.
Legitimate attachments from Symantec, yahoo, Freeserve, etc, can be set
within Outlook if specific conditions are metso as not to be included in
the send to ZAttach message rule.
