Greetings,

I sent this message over a year ago and have not found any response, so am
resending in hopes that somebody can answer my question.

Maybe I'm thick or something, but I've been wondering exactly what the
following means.

When downloading my AVG updates, I've noticed the following message
(please note the numbers quoted are totally fictitions, it is the message
format you will need to carefully read):

Bytes received 1234.5kb (50%) - File size 9876.5kb ( 9742.1 kb )

I am wondering what the final number in parenthases () means as it does not
seem to bear any relation that I can see, to either bytes received or file
size.

Colin Howard looks forward to hearing from you.
