[access-uk] Removing a Sim Card in an Iphone

Hi,
I am updating my iphone and wish to keep the same number etc. I have been
told by my phone provider that I can do this by removing the sim card and
inserting it into my new phone.
Could someone therefore please let me know how to remove the card, I have no
idea where it is, smiles.
Also, how can I ensure that all my contacts, apps etc are copied over to the
sim card before I do this, or are they automatically stored on the card.
