Hi Ron

Thanks for this. I wasn't sure whether perhaps if I was on E4 for instance, if I pressed the red button, BB live would start playing no matter what was on. It's definitely a shame you can't use it though. I live alone so before I sign up for it, I just want to ensure that it's at least usable for what I want.

Justine. We have Virgin media, but I have not used the remote at all. My wife tells me that the menus come up on the screen and you press the red button on the prog you want. I doubt I would be able to use it so I leave it to her. We
have the Virgin V box which she tells me is wonderful and so easy to use.
Storing up to eighty hours of programmes on the hard drive. Again not
accessible to the likes of us. I wish there was such a box for storing radio
programmes. You can't even store the radio programmes from the TV.

If anyone knows how to use the remote perhaps they will come on and tell you.

Cheers

Ron

Hi!

Does anyone use Virgin Media (formerly NTL's) red button service? If so,
how accessible is it? Basically I want to get the Big Brother live feed,
which isn't provided online as usual this year and the only way it looks
like I'll be able to get it is via Virgin or Sky. I can't get Sky as in the first year of my council tenancy I'm not allowed to put up a satellite dish.

Once you press the red button, is there then a series of menus to navigate
through or will the programme in question just begin playing? Any help so
that I can make a decision whether to sign up or not much appreciated.
