I'm using Jaws 5.1 so I think I should be using the Jaws cursor and the
left
and right mouse button equivalents on the number pad. I presume you are
doing similar with WE.
I'm getting closer.

Barry, When you launch word after the crash the recovery pain should be on
the screen. I know that with WE you have to use the neumeric keypad to get
to it though.
