Just to add... Another good thing about Total Recorder that it captures
internet streams such as BBC Listen Again without recording your screen
reader at the same time. I believe the standard edition costs around £18
which I think what you need. Download it and try it, I think you'll like it!
Cheers,
Amro

Ar, probably Total recorder is the better choice then as you can directly
capture the stream without loss of audio quality, which can happen with
traditional recording programs. Total Recorder is fully accessible, costs
around £28, and there is a good evaluation version you can get from
www.totalrecorder.com.

Hi Andy, Richard and Orhan
Many thanks for your response to my question.
I am not familiar with the programs you all suggested, so
what are the advantages and disadvantages, and which is the
most Jaws friendly?
Basically, I wish to record a BBC radio program from either
the live radio or "listen again" feature.
Best wishes
Henry

Hi Henry,
If you mean something like the BBC, you'll have to use a
program like audacity to record the station. Audacity will
go through your default sound card and jaws will have to go
through another. However if your streaming with shoutcast or
icecast and the station is playing in your media player, you
can do the same. You can also record internet streams with
total recorder, which is not free. I haven't used it
personally, but I don't record a lot of radio anyway.
Best regards,
Orhan Deniz

Hi Everyone
Please could someone explain how I can record radio stations
from the internet and store on a USB device?
I am using Jaws V7 and home XP.
Any advice will be most appreciated.
