Cheers Barry, I'm a complete beginner at this as I said, so any tips are much appreciated. I did take a look on that site you mentioned, but was a little concerned in case the apps were based in America, as I did get one once, not a GPS one I add, which unfortunately didn't work well over in the UK. At the moment IMHO there's no one package for IOS that covers all the features a Visually impaired person would want. So you could find yourself using NAVIGON for route planning, and another for Points Of Interest, and yet another for "Where am at the moment", functionality. Which gets a bit messy. Also the likes of NAVIGON or Tom Tom aren't cheap. Regards, Barry. I want something to tell me where I am, and something to help me find new places etc. I have no sight, so need something that works well with voiceover. Many thanks. Sharon
