OK, so its thumbs down for Real Player.  But, will Real Alternative play
streams normally reserved for the BBC Player?  I've a feeling the answer is
"No", but please, someone, tell me if I'm right or wrong on this one.

     Yes, Andy;  I'll second Vince's message about real
     alternative.  I've used
     it for ages and it streams BBC programmes just fine.  Real
     player is a pain
     in the . . . and I couldn't wait to get rid of it!
