For me Real Player is awful compared to alternative. RP is more difficult to
install and set up, it starts up automatically, and they want you to fill in
forms to get promotional emails and stuff.

I've changed the subject line to reflect what you said in your message to
which I am now replying.
I don't think I had real player on my PC, but if I did, I didn't
uninstall it before installing Real alternative.
