Hi Damon,

There already is an excellent accessible RSS reader. It is called News
Aloud, and is from http://www.nextup.com. Sandra, you should know this one,
as it is the same people who do Weather Aloud. But take a look at News
Aloud. You can have it loaded in the background, and read all the RSS feeds
as they are updated, using your favourite SAPI engine, or using your screen
reader, you can scroll the headlines, hit control-W and you are straight on
the web site concerned. Truly a kool RSS reader is this one.

All the best

Along the same lines,RSS is also a method by which people keep up with
their favourite blogs as well as news sites.

We're currently developing an RSS feed for the weblog on my website
www.bbc.co.uk/ouch/weblog/

I think an accessible RSS agregator could really help visually impaired
people edit the net down to manageable proportions and make everything
much easier to read.

Basically you create a list of your favourite sites. When they update,
your RSS reader program updates too. So you get the very latest stuff
from all your favourite websites all on one page ... Put simply.

Mark,
An RSS feed is the way in which certain web sites provide headlines etc
which are
updated at frequent intervals. The BBC has such a feed as do Daily Mail
and Daily
Telegraph I think. Perhaps Sandra will correct me if I have got this
wrong.
