[access-uk] Re: REPLACEMENT HEADPHONES

Just because they are absolutely fab. The sound is amazing and they are dead comfortable. I've had my first pair since 1988. Yes I've replaced the ear-muffs, but they are just lovely and Ian nabbed them off me so I bought a similar pair and they are just as fantastic. I suppose Sennheiser are nice too, but I just love Beyer Dynamic headphones, always have. I think the clear ranges on them are really superb, and I think there is a very true sound if you see what I mean.

Hope you get what you're looking for.

Why are Beyer Dynamic your favourites, Jackie?

Carol, Sennheiser do a range, as do my particular favourite make, Beyer Dynamic. I think RNIB certainly offer several pairs of Sennheiser, but you could probably get them cheaper through Tapesense. Don't have any specific models to offer offhand.

Hi all,

Sadly, I have to replace my favourite headphones ...

I've had these Sennheiser headphones for some years and, despite the fact they've been broken for some while, have been able to continue to use them! Now I need a very comfortable, lightweight, pair, with padding that goes right across the ear, a headband and ordinary cable and jack.

Any suggestions most welcome - but they must be really lightweight, comfortable and good quality!
