Sure Tim no problem. It is easy to do without sight, and while there are no specific preset buttons for each one you nominate, it is very straightforward to find them. But I'll write something and let you both have it.

Hi Jackie,

While you're making that description for Andy, could you possibly forward a copy to me as well please.

I've had the move for a while, but never got round to learning how to program the presets.

Many thanks,

Tim.

Hi Andy

Well the nice thing about the Pure Move is that it has a built-in speaker, so you can listen to it without using headphones. There is a little stand that folds into the radio at the bottom, and this can be pulled out to sit on a window-sill.

What I normally do with charging it Andy is to put it on the mains overnight, then it's done for the morning. I'm not sure exactly how long it takes, but it definitely lasts ages when it's at full tilt.

I must confess I've got two of them. I took them both into hospital with me in December, and listened to Five Live and Sports Extra at the same time on occasions. When one battery ran out, I got Ian to charge it when he came in and used the other one, then swapped them round. I just had to have a radio on very quietly from morning till night as it helped deflect my focus from the pain in my head.

When you get your radio, let me know, and I'll try to describe it, and give you some tips about using its presets.

Jackie, good to know I can talk to you about this, as I've just ordered one
<smile> So, I'll be asking for your help probably, when it arrives.

I'm glad it runs on rechargeables. The brief blurb from Tapesense said it
recharges while plugged in to the mains; have you found this works well?
About how long is the charging time. I like the idea of being able to get
over 40 hours running time out of a single charge, much better than the
Minastry of sound thing I've been using running on 2 AAs -

Andy

| Hi Andy
|
| I use it and find it good to work with. The FM section is particularly
good
| on this radio compared to other DAB/FM sets. If you decide to buy one,
I'll
| try to do my best to explain where the buttons are, and how you put in
your
| presets, 10 for DAB and 10 for FM. The battery life is brilliant on the
| Pure Move too.
