Adrian, I found that was true until yesterday, at which time I could not buy anything at all, nor could I delete items from the basket. At least now we have a solution, and hopefully it will be put right eventually. I found I had to order via the text site then log back in to the graphical site to ammend my order to incorporate the free delivery option. Very unsatisfactory. They assure me they are working on it. The problem comes with the scripting for many of their buttons, including "Move To Basket", "Save For Later" and others. With Jaws at least, it is possible to use a combination of Jaws mode and some fancy keyboard work/guess work to get the buttons to work, but it's by no means easy or straightforward like it ought to be. I'm planning to follow up in the next few days and I know that others from different countries have also been in touch with Amazon, so I'd suggest that adding you're voice might prod them into action. Cheers, Tink. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Russell" <david.russell8@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, October 18, 2004 1:08 PM Subject: [access-uk] Problems with amazon > Hi Folks > > I am currently finding it impossible to purchase discs from amazon. =20 > the rest of the site works as usual, but the purchase buttons are not=20 > functioning as they should. > > Is anyone else having this problem? > > David > --- > Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. > Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). > Version: 6.0.778 / Virus Database: 525 - Release Date: 15/10/04 > > ** To leave the list, send a message to:- > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, send a message, to > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, send a message to:- ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, send a message, to=20 ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq --=20 This email has been verified as Virus free Virus Protection and more available at http://www.plus.net ** To leave the list, send a message to:- ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
