Hi all,
Has anyone experienced the following? I'm trying to install two security
updates specific to the Microsoft .Net Framework, versions 1.1 and 2.0
respectively. However, the installation fails. When I looked at my
update history and clicked on the failed link, it told me that I had
error 0x66A, this code being the reason why it won't install them. If
you've managed to fix this, please share it with us all as I'd love to
get these installed and get rid of that update balloon nagging me to
install them. This has been going on now for several days by the way. I
installed the same security update on my dad's PC fine. We're both
running Windows XP Home SP2 with latest updates, except for these two in
my case at least <smiles>! Thanks!
