Hi Eleanor,
It couldn't hurt to try. What I'd do is uninstall MSE, reboot and as unplug
your network cable, or disconnect from yoru WIFI. While there could be nastys
hiding on your machine, and I could say stick another anti virus one, it'll be
a fairer test without introducing another piece of software. As you've two
computers at home do the experimenting on one.
Regards,
Barry.

Subject: [access-uk] Problem with Computer Freezing for A Second at a Time
Hi
I have a problem developed only recently. I can be reading a word document
or an e-mail or even writing and the computer freezes for a second or two,
then all is well. However this keeps happening. Now you could say maybe I
have a problem with my computer but it has started happening on another
computer too. the only thing I can think of is that I have started using
MSE on both computers and more or less at the same time. Might something be
updating and causing this freeze? I am wondering if I should remove MSE to
see if it resolves the problem.
