one thing you can do is set up a user account in Windows XP and use this 
rather than always logging on with an account with administrator priveleges.

Ok  if it's as simple as that, why is it that "apple macs  not as popular?

Most people seem to have a Pc using windows. Why?
Is it same reason as most blind people use Jaws for their screen  reader?

We want  a product that has a proven track record for being:
reliable
easy to use
If it's reliable and easy to use then it's worth the price.
