Hi Steve, Well done and even Freeview is better sound quality than DAB. At least they haven't as yet set a date on the close down of FM. The BBC and others led us to believe that it would be CD quality. No such luck. 128K at best, except for Radio 3, which I believe peaks at 192KB. Dreadful quality, and I certainly wouldn't miss it. You get better bandwidth listening to the radio on Sky. Now FM is a different matter altogether. When they switch that off, I will miss that dreadfully, as that is still the best quality radio if you have a good aerial and receiver. All the best Steve _____ From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jackie Cairns Sent: Monday 11 February 2008 12:39 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Possibly off topic, but is this the beginningof the endfor dab digital radio And Simon Mayo is discussing the possible demise in digital radio at 1.00 today, Five Live.
