Jah, I bought one. Philips DA1000, no helpful screen hints, but I can use it well enough and it's all right. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steve Holmes Sent: 30 October 2005 13:59 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Portable DAB radio Hi Margaret. There is one made by Phillips which is sold by Argoss. I think it's called the Phillips 1000 DAB but you will have to check. Argoss sells it for £100. I hope this helps. It's portable but doesn't have any talking speech but it's supposed to be quite good. It was rated highly in a recent Which magazine survey and test of DAB radios.
