Hi Amro,
The actual name of the file is up to the author. For example, my Podcast,
Our place, has a file containing the episode and the date. So this last
week's is op053-24-02-07.mp3. You can't have the same file name every week,
because you would overwrite the previous Podcast. What juice gives you is
what is written in the RSS feed, rather than the file name, which is always
correct. You could, of course, rename the file.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] Podcast files' names
Hi all,
I Use Juice podcatcher. When a podcast is downloaded, it appears by its name
on the Downloads list of Juice alright, but, in My Received Podcasts folder,
it shows up with an almost meaningless name. e.g. on the Downloads list in
Juice it says (Episode 25: The Story of Galaxy Evolution), but in My
Received Podcasts folder the podcast files appears as
(AstroCast-070225.m4a).
So I wander please if there's anyway for the podcasts to be saved with their
correct names as it were? I'd be interested to hear other people's
experiences with this. Many thanks.
Amro
