Joan - do you have the cd software for your copy of PDVD? You could try reinstalling it, but you will need the licence key off the box to do this - Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joan Muir" <wjmuir.twadugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, November 19, 2007 12:29 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Playing DVD's using WMP 11 | Thanks, Wendy. | | However, when I use the applications key it just says "Applications" and | that's it. No arrowing, tabbing or anything else will get me anywhere. On | reading all the other messages in this thread, I think maybe that this was a | free trial or something. It came with this Dell computer I have and I don't | know whether it was free or not. It may well be out of date now. | | Alternatively, this DVD I'm trying may be faulty. | | The third choice of course is an idiotic user! (smile). | | Thanks for all your help, folks. | | Do DVD's play with Windows Media Player? I might try uninstalling this Power | DVD and try that instead. | | Best wishes, | | Joan. | | | ----- Original Message ----- | From: "Wendy Sharpe" <w.sharpe@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> | To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> | Sent: Sunday, November 18, 2007 7:59 PM | Subject: [access-uk] Re: Playing DVD's using WMP 11 | | | > Joan | > | > I recently worked out how to use Power DVD.
