Ah, thanks very much indeed, I didn't know that, and will try it out.
Looking at what I've done, I can't see it's wrong, but then I'm only a
novice at the Mac and iTunes, so anything is possible, (smile).

Jackie, don't know if this is the problem, but if you are still  stuck with
the first track in a play list playing over and over, or any other track you
select for that matter, if you double tap the 'Album  Art' button when in
the play list, for the track that is playing, it will reveal extra controls
not visible on the first screen. One of these is a repeat track/repeat
all/off button. You might want to make sure this is off if you haven't
already done so.
