Hi Dean

I'm probably not telling you something that you don't know, but if it is a
problem with the box, then that would be the responsibility of whoever you
rent your line from. However, if you call them out to sort it and it turns
out to be something else, you'll be charged for it. It is a bit dodgy that
it only happens when your broadband is plugged in.

The set up in your room doesn't sound like it is quite right with just one
filter. I presume you have tried unplugging the cordless phone.

Barry

Hi,
I have changed my filters recently to make sure of this. This is how
I have it set up. I have an extension that plugs into the phone
socket to go to my computer upstairs. On the plug the plugs into the
socket is a socket for a phone so this has a filter plugged in and
then a phone. Upstairs I have a cordless phone and my modem plugged
into a filter which are then plugged into the extension. My modem is
plugged to the modem side but I have tried using a sepperate filter
for the modem just for luck, this didn't help.
