Following on John's comments about the need for different sized labels and how people might put two labels on one object. I was thinking. One of the small round ones on the corner of a letter for quick reference, just saying something like "Hospital appointment", "Bank statement", "Phone bill", "Household insurance", and so on. So you can quickly find the letter you want. Then put one of the larger labels on the back of the letter with the entire letter on it if you want to be able to read it quickly.
